It’s a Wonderful Life: The Community Helped

If you’ve ever watched It’s A Wonderful Life, one of the central things about the story is the financial issues that the Bailey Building and Loan faced, and how George Bailey, the owner of the firm, which he inherited from his father. took personal responsibility, and at one point he contemplated taking his own life for the proceeds of the life insurance policy to go help save the company.

I don’t want to ruin the movie for you, but the good news is he doesn’t end up dying. But the more central thing that I saw in this film was how the entire community helped him. They actually helped raise the money that was misplaced. He didn’t do anything illegal or wrong, but the whole town came together to help him.

Unfortunately, we don’t have many communities like that anymore. And unfortunately, the banks aren’t going to help you. People are looking for someone to help them in times of crisis. And while there’s not a lot of options, here at Estavillo Law Group, we’ll do everything in our power to try and stop a foreclosure of your home and keep you in your home long term.
